Lake Agassiz Development Group has been providing planning services to local governments for more than 35 years. We can assist with all facets of the planning process from convening stakeholders, facilitating meetings and events, collecting data through surveys and secondary data, writing reports and plans, and developing implementation strategies.
We are capable of assisting in a variety of topics including, but not limited to, economic development strategies and multi-hazard mitigation planning. Our assistance is provided on a fee for service basis. We can also help, albeit in a limited manner, townships and cities with land use zoning questions.

LARC, a US Department of Commerce designated Economic Development District (EDD), is responsible for preparing the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS is required to be updated every five years and maintains the region’s eligibility for grants from the US Economic Development Administration.
